NSW: 19 year old charged with kidnapping youth

SYDNEY, Feb 1 AAP - A 19-year-old man charged over the kidnapping of another man would
appear in Central Local Court today, police said.

Burwood police charged the Gunnedah man with kidnapping, two counts of obtaining benefit by
deception and armed robbery, a police spokeswoman said.

The charges related to the kidnapping of a 19-year-old man yesterday, she said.

She said the man had been refused bail and would appear in Central Local Court today.
